Pregnant & breastfeeding mums will find a hot drink and a warm welcome at our breastfeeding support meetings. Siblings are also welcome – we have toys and usually plenty of homemade healthy banana oaty traybake too!
We hold a group discussion around 10.30-11.30 (sessions run from 10-12) when mums share their experiences and support each other. There is plenty of time before and after for one to one help from our LLL leader (LLLI accredited breastfeeding counsellor). We have a well stocked library of books on breastfeeding and related topics which are available to borrow for free (we ask for a £5 returnable deposit from non-members). All age babies and children welcome.
You can find us at Soham Methodist Church Hall* on Berrycroft, Soham CB7 5BL on Tuesdays fortnightly from 10am-12pm. Please check meeting dates as some are not quite fortnightly due to holidays.
There is free parking in the Methodist Church car park, it is within walking distance of a bus stop, there is plenty of room in the hall for pushchairs and it is on the ground floor.

We are really lucky to have a wonderful volunteer grandmother, Nanny Pam, who keeps us all topped up with tea and traybake and is available to hold your baby if you want the luxury of using the loo on your own! If you would like to help out with any aspect of our meeting please get in touch. We are always happy to have help setting up and packing away the chairs and toys and washing up the mugs and sweeping the floor at the end of meetings if you have two hands free, but we don’t expect this from anyone.
*LLL is not affiliated with the church in any way and has no religious views. We are paying venue hire in order to use the hall which is generously funded for 2019 by a grant from Big Lottery.
